I sought balance in my life,
elusive, transitory, always just beyond
the grasp, hidden behind the musts
that cloud vision and reason.

Some day, I’ll have enough success,
enough money, enough fame or fortune.
There will be time to devote to music,
to art, to family, to friends, to my soul.

Won’t there?
